If you’ve read the World in Conflict blog, then you will know what Food and Frag is about – the good things in life. F&F is version 2 of mortifiedpenguin’s experimentation with online journalism and do give your support as if it is successful, he would most likely include it in his portfolio to help him pursue his career ambitions. Sounds naive, but it’s the effort that counts.
Food –
what is essential to give us energy. Eat to live, but live to eat. Our taste buds and stomachs deserve the best, so why suffer from unsatisfactory food when there are so many great alternatives out there! Food is not just about tasting, it’s also a piece of art. Spectacular presentation of dishes, especially deserts, is fun to admire at and also important in setting our appetite right. Hopefully my photographs will do them justice, but pardon me as I’m only an amateur photographer with a point-and-shoot digital camera. If you have a good place to recommend do drop me an email ( contact on the editor’s page ) or leave a comment on my review – after all good food is for all to share!
Frag -
it’s about racking up those kills. Gaming has entered a new era with the next-gen consoles ( or should i say current-gen since it’s been a few years already ) but the rules still remain unchanged – winner takes all, second place is for losers. Don’t flame me if I’ve posted a review of a relatively old game compared to new releases as I’ve just finished 12 years of education and am trying to catch up now that I’ve gotten my life back. Especially important for PC game reviews, please refer to the specifications of my rig on the editor’s page to make any comparisons and please, no flaming! I’m on a tight budget here ( actually more like zero ) so I don’t need you to tell me that I can get a better experience by upgrading my computer.
