Nope, at this point of writing I’ve still not gotten my Xbox 360.

But I’ve got a new phone though, and would be talking about it soon in a new section on this site titled Three Green Lights which is basically an informal blog section where I can reflect on anything related to food or gaming, taking a step back from a more serious tone in reviews and instead allowing me more avenue to inject some cynicism. More details will be posted on the first entry.

This month is officially the start of some serious reviewing but given the slow arrival of my Xbox and gradual decreases in my savings, I’ve chosen to focus more on food this month. So the games will wait till probably the end of the month, hopefully. As you can see, I’ve been so bored at home that I’ve been playing this Guitar Hero-like game for the PC called Frets on Fire. And yes, you hold the keyboard as if it were a real guitar. Quite amusing actually.

Many of us will be enlisting for National Service in a couple of weeks’ time and are enjoying the break as much as they can before they have to report at ‘paradise island’. I however have a few more months and in between my 6-days-a-week job helping out at a children’s enrichment centre and trying to work on my comic, I hope to do as many food reviews as possible, mostly through the last few gatherings I will have with my classmates.

Guys, quickly go and enjoy the food mainland has to offer, because once you’re off to Tekong you will start missing them!
